Hello everyone and Merry Christmas to you all!
Since launching The Beauty box last December Sara and I have been on a whirling cloud of everything ‘Beauty Box’ and we have not stopped or slowed down. We would like to thank you all for your continued support of our little empire and our dream to promote self-care and wellness but not at the cost of the planet or animals.
By only working with small UK businesses, we are keeping the carbon footprint as low as possible and supporting another dream and in a lot of cases a family.
We are incredibly proud of our suppliers and the relationship we have grown with them over the last year, the passion, standard, creativity and dedication from all of them is admirable and we have the upmost respect for each and every one of them.
Every time you purchased one of our boxes, share a post or told a friend about us our heart glowed with such love and pride. It means so much to us that what we are doing is making a difference to so many of you and doing it in a clean and ethical way.
There are so many incredible businesses out there that offer high standard products made with natural quality ingredients; we want to share them with you as an alternative to the mass-produced, over-advertised, plastic covered, toxic products that are flooding the market and gathering dust on our shelves.
There are so many products out there that are full of lies, chemicals and give us false hope, which then end up sat at the back of a drawer, gathering dust on a shelf, passed on to someone else (who probably won’t use it) or in the bin which then ends up in a landfill.
I want The Beauty Box to be as transparent with you all as possible and to give you all that beauty treat with a clean conscience. Everything Beauty Box related is as ethical as possible, the paper and card we print on is recycled and from a local business, the boxes we use are from the UK, the parcel tape we use is compostable, the postal mailing bags are made from sugar cane, our ink and printer is Eco-friendly, even our uniform is eco/vegan ink!
We want the beauty box to be honest from tip to tail and everything in between.
We are so glad you stayed with us the last 12 months and followed our journey, and I am really pleased to write you this open letter of thanks and to share our values and what we are trying to do, we couldn’t have done it without you all, together we can have a greener, beautiful future.
